Position: ANSYS Developer

Location: Tarrytown, NY

Duration: 6 Months

A Computer Aided Modeling and Simulation engineer- MUST HAVE the following technical skills;

•        Finite Element Analysis

•         Computational Fluid Dynamics (Thermal and Fluids)

•         Multi-physics

•         Modal Analysis 

 

Must have the above capabilities using ANSYS tool suite.

Knowledge of Mechatronics Simulation using LMS and Magnetics using ANSYS Maxwell desirable but not required.

CAE / CFD/Simulation/Modeling

Desired Candidate profile:

- Minimum 4 years in product design

- Demonstrated expertise in at least one commercial FEA, CFD or Multi-physics software (e.g., Ansys) and experience in Siemens LMS, Magnetics using ANSYS is desirable.

- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (2D & 3D) with one of the commercial CAD packages such as SolidWorks

- Experience and strong track record in new product development and design. Experience in product development for medical device and diagnostics industry is highly desirable.

- Formal training and experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology is a plus

- Strength in scientific and engineering fundamentals based on first-principles understanding including critical thinking and systematic problem solving skills is an essential requirement to be successful in this position

- Candidates with interdisciplinary background/experience, hands-on and strong communication skills are strongly preferred
