ANSYS BATCH MODE

Hello

I'm performing a modal analysis using the batch mode, in ANSYS version
12.0.

I need to get the images of the deformed shape of the structure for
several mode shapes.
In each image I need to have an overview of the any displacements.

I'm using the following APDL code to get the pictures and save it in
the"D:\" directory:

and I can get the output files (.jpeg) of the several mode shapes in
my working directory.

The problem now is that the images of the mode shapes doesnot appear.
I try to reverse the colors of the background from black to white
(/COLOR,WBAK,WHIT and /COLOR,GRBAK,WHIT) but the structural mode shape
is not represented.

Does anyone knows what should be the problem?

Selam Serkan,

i know about that problem. I have tried a similar task. I wanted ansys
to do some simulations in batch mode and export images to my hard
disk. I have been told by our local support that if you want ANSYS to
export images the GUI has to be active.

hi

the problem is  jpeg images grab the image from screen literally , so try using png

else run the postprocessing macro in gui mode
