Hello all,

The proposed change is to :

Write out sub-element <scalingTime> for <amplitude> which is mapped to amp.wstart in the database.

FYI, qml only writes <amplitude> elements for amp.amptype = Wood-Anderson

The current qml writes <amplitude> elements with references to picks via sub-element <pickID>. These <pickID> refer to <pick> elements. The <arrival> elements also refer to these <pick> elements via sub-element <pickID>.

At the SCSN, our amplitudes and arrivals do not have the same picks. Hence, with the current qml some <amplitude> elements have a <pickID> and some don't (depending on whether the SNCL in amp table overlaps with corresponding one in arrival).

Additionally, the documentation for <pick> in the QuakeML documentation, seems to indicate that the element is geared more towards phases.

Please let me know your thoughts by the end of this week. I will work on making any changes next week.

regards,
Aparna
