Route53: Ability to set routing policy?

Hi all, 

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the routing policy for a DNS record using the route53 core module? From the source, it appears that it is not possible, but it's strange that this would be the case. It seems like a fairly important part of the Route53 service to be able to configure.
