uri module not returning full content

I'm trying to get the vcloud vApp information using ansible URI module to access the vCloud REST API's and see that the returned content doesnt have the full XML. I occasionally saw the full XML being returned but most of the times the XML is truncated. Has anyone experienced this issue and how did you go about fixing it?
