Role: Data Platform Support Lead

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: Long Term

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a   Data Platform Support Lead, who will be responsible to provide support to informatica and snowflake technology platforms, also to develop various Data Integration & Data warehouse projects in snowflake. And lead automation activities to simplify the day to support activities. Develop and maintain documentation of the data flow and data models of the data warehouse appropriate for various audiences. And excellent communication skills to work with all stakeholder across line of business leaders.

 

Technical Skills:

Primary Skills

·          Informatica, Python, SQL Server, and Snowflake

 

Secondary Skills

·          Denodo, AWS and Splunk

 

Tertiary Skills

· Node JS, Rest APIs

 

Process Skills:

·          Must have total 8+ yrs. in IT and 2+ years' experience working in production support areas and experience in leading the team who provide support round the clock.

·          Good hands on in troubleshooting Informatica and python workflows, including the Databases like SQL Server and Snowflakes.

·          Expertise in  Snowflake  – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features

·          Proven track record of brining in new thoughts into the team with automating manual and repetitive activities to improve the team’s efficiency.

·          Excellent communication skills and good experience in handling multiple stakeholders across line of business.

·          Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshoot

·          Should be able to troubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform and application domains.

 

Skills:

·          Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs

·          Participates as a team member and inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

·          Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

·          Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

 

Certification:

·          Informatica and SnowPro (desired)
