Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.
I've ever tried to disable hardware acceleration, enable DRM content, install Microsoft Silverlight and a lot of other things, but I didn't get to watch so far without an error I keep receiving these error codes: D7356-7701 and others related. Is there's still something that can be done to really fix theses erros or I just have to be patient and wait for news versions of the browser?
using netflix on AppleTV 4 and having issues lately with some titles not loading. After selecting the movie or episode, it will just stay on the loading loop. Not a network issue since other titles will load and stream fine. Most titles work fine, but 10% of the time, titles like girl from oslo, fauda, blackspace wont load. Tried forced app restart and reinstall, but issue persists.
Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with certain content in the Netflix app. To start, follow the steps listed here to see if they help resolve the issue:If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app
I have exactly the same problem. It helps to delete and reinstall the Netflix app. Then everything is fine for some weeks or months, but, out of a sudden, some titles again refuse to start and I have to do the delete-reinstall cycle once again.
I have same issue. About 3 weeks ago, the video didnt work only netflix and youtube app. I shut down my phone. Unfortunately, it wasnt perfect solution. I also did reset all settings. It seemed to have solved problem completely, but I get same issue now. I want to know which thing occurs this problem, with apps or IOS? No matter what it is, it needs to be updated.
Netflix wont allow my paypal as my payment method. It keeps saying somethings wrong with my paypal account. I have called netflix and they say it is an issue with my account. However netflix appears as active in my account.
If Netflix already appears on your Manage Automatic Payments page of your PayPal account then you're set. Netflix will automatically withdraw the amount due each month and you'll receive a PayPal receipt when that happens.
Is PayPal not listed in your Netflix account as the payment method? If it is not, go back to the Manage Automatic Payment page and cancel the active Netflix profile there. And then go to Netflix and re-link your account. I also suspect that you can only set up one PayPal account at a time as PayPal method and and any active Automatic Payment profile to Netflix has to be canceled first.
i already canceled active subscribtion on paypal then canceled my account on netflix and tried to restart the membership but it still gives me the same message that "There appears to be a problem with the payment method you are trying to use."
Hi, I've got a google nest mini and I've just connected my TV to it. I've been able to turn on netflix through my nest, but when I tell it to play a tv show on netflix, it says "I also need to know which device to use. Try saying that again, and include the device's name." Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue? Would appreciate any suggestions!
You could try setting your "Preferred TV" to your TV via the Google Home app. That is supposed to work, though I think this feature is a little buggy. (I'm currently having a different problem, but related to the same feature).
After linking, you can start playing a TV show or movie with voice commands like "Ok Google, watch Orange is the New Black on TV," all of your next control commands (pause, next, etc.) control that particular TV. You don't need to continue to specify the TV after the viewing session begins.
In order to watch netflix with firefox under Ubuntu 18.04, you need to make sure that you have DRM enabled in your firefox settings (Go to settings, scroll down, check play drm-controlled content). Also make sure you have the libavcodec-extra package (from the universe repository) installed. In order to install libavcodec-extra you should have the universe repository enabled:
I've recently been doing a bit of web development so I've been thinking more about authentication and stuff. On Netflix I noticed there is an extra option on the Account page to de-authorize other devices. My girlfriend changed her password but I was still able to use it without re-entering the password till she logged out other devices.
Chaning password doesnt matter becouse the device has autorization already probably in the form of a refresh token stored someplace. So its not storing a password its storing an autorization token of some kind.
This shows a list of all the crap I have loged in to using my facebook account. Now I have probably changed my facebook password sevral times it wont matter I will still have access. Some of these are mobil apps i have installed on my cellphone at one time or another. Even if i dont use them they still have access.
I've just baught my HP laptop a few days ago for everyday use and I've downloaded the Netflix app but it wont work at all and just keeps buffering, I've updated the laptop and it still wont work, it also wont connect to my tv with a HDMI without crashing, please help
Anyone else with the XiOne, having issues with netflix?
ALL other streaming apps work fine on the box, netflix will not load.
Brings up the logo, spins for a bit, then says cant connect.
Doing some of the netflix app tests, says its not connected to the internet.
Obviously the box is and works with everything else.
Have rebooted, etc all already.
Netflix seems to work fine on my XiOne and Xi6-T set-top boxes. However, it looks like the stored app data got reset on the XiOne -- when I launched the app, I got the initial sign-in screen and had to log into the app again.
ITs been working fine on my other boxes.
I have since tried doing the reset of netflix from pressing A, as well as when I get into that netflix diag menu a reset there (probably doing the same thing).
Same issue.
My next thought, would be a full factory rest on the whole box?

It might, but it depends on what the problem is. If it's just due to some data that is not being cleared, a simple factory reset should fix that. If you have a problem with the on-board Flash storage, a factory reset may not be enough.
You can try looking at the diagnostics screens. " Down Down 2" typically only shows informational stuff but it's still worth checking. " Down Down 4" may show helpful errors on the "Install Summary" or the "Advanced Diags" screen.
There is a much more aggressive reset available that completely clears Flash storage on the box, but that is a VERY risky thing for an end-user to do. You should only attempt that under the direction of Tech Support because if something goes wrong, you could end up rendering the box unbootable.
On one of my Xi6-T STBs, the Prime Video and Disney+ apps would not load. An error flashed for an instant, then I was back to the Apps screen. After a few more tries, both apps finally loaded, although I found that I needed to sign back into Disney+.
I'm not sure what to make of this. A few years ago, the App problems that I just saw on my Xi6-T had started creeping into ALL of my Xi6-A set-top boxes; I got them all replaced and the problems went away. However, while my Xi6-T's might be showing signs of old age, my XiOne is only a few months old. Another (known) problem is that the Amazon Music app is temporarily unavailable. It's gone from the Apps menu. When I try to invoke it with Voice Commands, I get an APPS-04154 error. It's still too early to tell whether my Xi6-T's are actually going sour. However, my STB's also got updated again last night, and it sure looks like Rogers may be trying to sort out some issues with their Ignite STB software builds.
