ANS National Conference
For those of you interested in attending the ANS National Student
Conference will be held at the University of Michigan from April 8th
to April 11th at the Marriott at Eagle Crest Resort. You can register
here and view the information pertaining to the conference:
http://www.studentans2010.org/. If you want to receive funding for
this trip, you must let Cody know by February 10th at 6pm. If you have
any questions you can e-mail him at: mor...@uiuc.edu. If you wait
past this date you will probably not get funded.
Pancake Breakfast
The annual pancake dinner will be on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Each
plate costs $5 and the money goes directly to your team's goal for the
Relay for Life. Come out with ANS and enjoy some Pancakes! Also, if
you are interested in participating in Relay for Life, please e-mail
me at alta...@illinois.edu so I can put you on the list.
Time: 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Location: Great Hall in the Wesley Foundation (Corner of Green and
Matthews).
General Meeting
The next general meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at
5pm in 100H Talbot. Food will be provided as usual.
Engineering Convergence
The event is centered around an informal discussion on how you can
make the most of your time here at Illinois and achieve professional
success in the years to come. This will be held on Tuesday, February
9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Cost of registration is $10 for students,
which includes dinner, networking with alumni representatives from the
ECS career fair, and a small gift from the College of Engineering.

On Friday, February 12th, EC will be hosting its annual Broomball
Tournament after the Illini hockey game. Teams will consist of 6
players but are allowed 2 substitutes. The deadline for team sign-ups
is Wednesday, February 10th. Please let me know if you are interested
in participating so we can get a team together! I’d need to know by
Monday afternoon the latest.
Once again, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to e-
mail me at alta...@illinois.edu
Enjoy the Weekend!
