Higuys, i noticed that there is no tutorial for making MUGEN works in hyperspin. There are some information there and there but this is the way i made it works Flawlesslly !!! Without any script or anything else i will explain to make it work and this without any bug when exiting game (because some of mugen game do not like the Esc key in hyperlaunch so this make the process error and you lose focus from hyperspin).

For the executable create a dummy files that you will rename as MUGEN.exe and set this into the Executable path of HyperHQ. I do this because hyperlauch do not seems to like when there is no executable because in fact the executable will do nothing.

when i go to hyperlaunch to test mugen with these settings, i hit test and a pop up comes up where i can only push ok. it points to 099 though to what appears to be the module code. the error reads... error: failed attempt to launch program or document; action ... my location of my pclaunch.exe. Params . Specifically : the system cannot find the file specified. 099: run, "%rompath%%gamepath%",%rompath%%romname%,,game_PID

So back at this again.. Upgraded to RocketLauncher and trouble again with this. Mugen game launches fine by itself but I can't get this set up with the new setup. Prior to this I was running it via lnk. Any tips for the step in detail? I've got the emulator path to mugen, ahk is green, game audit is red meaning it can't find the game so it won't run

When you get to the part of setting up the ahk, even though you don't have to put in an extension for virtual emu's, still put it in: "exe". You can use the "lnk" files if you have em but you won't be using them, don't really need em. Just make sure your game exe's match the database. This will allow RL to audit the games. I am having an issue. I've got this set up (using RL and HS 1.4 GR), works flawlessly, it'll launch everything perfectly and the games run exactly the way I want them to but when I hit exit (esc) it just locks the game and I end up having to click on exit game (manually) instead actually just heading back to hyperspin. I don't want to set up a different key to exit in EVERY emulator in order to accomplish this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's why he played a rock badger in a game with a metal-style soundtrack. Including he is making the continuation of the sonic and ashuro game, support him. Take what I say with a bag of salt, but if just 1 thing says its a virus and everything else says its fine that is probably a sign that one thing either had a miss-flag or is shit. If something was a virus you'd expect the majority or the things to find it not just 1.

As for MUGEN characters to be wary of which ones you download though as there are tales of those "cheapy" characters being made to fuck with files or your computer in a way to win, and while the most famous one was a hoax other malicious ones do exist.

They Place Trojan and adware on their links when you have to download something Well more so short links basically with popups, You have to make an account and be forced to communicate with its toxic ass community in order to be able to download more.

I also heard that one of their mods will ban you if you ask a simple question. simply because she can't answer it or she doesn't wanna answer it and responds with a ban. And reporting her doesn't do shit because the mods see it as her just simply doing her job. Dumpster fire of a site.

Yes, That mod, shes the exact bitch that wrote a message about this event, I didn't interact with her but She really is a cunt, Really all of that shit made me quit mugen, i mean I had tons of fun with the game, I'll be fair I used to have a thing for fighting games back then ever since I got into fatal fury, But Mugen archives community is a literal shit hole, I remember the website owner doxxing one of his users and writing a message ontop demanding everyone to harass him, The Owner is a Literal Tyrannical Loony, They wanna force users to interact with their pathetic asses.

Holy shit that actually happened? This is the first time I'm hearing about this. Wtf did somebody do to piss off the owner that warrants a doxxing and targeted harassment? and how tf is the site still up after that???

MUGEN has nothing to do with those people since the developers have disappeared ages ago and that so many of the bigger creators have their own communities and places elsewhere that they go to and stay at to work on their projects or to collaborate with others.

That one place just has the infamous reputation of, "we want to be THE source" and end up both stealing from everyone else and gatekeeping everything they have going on there. Because it's the biggest name run by people with the biggest egos, you also get the biggest of the worst bits of drama you can expect (the MUGEN Subreddit is run by them and you get the whole campaign of misinformation/drama led by them).

If you're really into the whole, "I need to collect thousands and thousands of characters/stages and I need them ALL" mindset .. then you probably really want to go into that place where you'll find some of the sloppiest work possible just because it's there for ego-boosting.

But then again, the person behind that one place has a big enough ego that anyone who posted in this thread is likely going to be banned or something because they're that unhinged they have to scour the internet and ban people prematurely or find ways to attack others.

I'm skeptical about virus protection websites or software. Unless you specifically use your PC or Apple or whatever computer for things you don't normally know you can easily find viruses on your own. I mean Macfee is also a virus finder or whatever and its trash.

Then again idk much about computers so maybe I'm wrong. But from my experience unless the software causes you issues it's fine to keep it. And worst case scenario you can just delete the software usually getting rid of the virus as well.

i remember looking something up the other day and finding a reddit post complaining about certain VT vendors giving false positives on a regular basis (searching Virus Total subreddit for "false positive").
