Manticore Requirements

Whatwould be the hardware requirements to run the current version of Manticore on 3TB of data using AWS?

We are currently trying Elasticsearch but there are a few features missing which we had in Manticore 3.

So we are curious if there would be a significant price difference between the two.

We strove to determine the most critical features to include in the initial version. These include auto-schema, which automatically generates a table based on the first document received, the BACKUP SQL command for easy table backups, and the SHOW QUERIES command to display currently executing queries.

Multi-threading and non-blocking processing are both supported, using the Parallel PHP extension to process queries in separate threads. If Manticore Buddy stops unexpectedly, Manticore Search will detect and automatically restart it.

I know it's MUCH lower capacity (1/4), if it works the same way, AND gets me about 4 hours, I'm good.

Another question though, is "what" within the description of the one you linked (the 325 model) shows it to be "power delivery," as opposed to another portable charger? I thought that's what portable chargers DID -- deliver power. No? There's something "special" about a "power delivery" portable charger?

However, a quick read of that, and a quick read of page 14 of the Manticore manual, it's clear that the Manticore isn't Power Delivery "smart". The Manticore does not even have a USB C port. This is all the manual has to say on the matter:

"You can use your MANTICORE detector whilst plugged into a portable power bank. This means you can continue detecting even if the detector battery is flat. Connect the power bank to your detector using the supplied USB charging cable, and continue detecting."

Therefore, I don't believe there is actually any advantage to using a PD capable power bank on the Manticore. It reads as though the onboard battery will go flat and they you'll be running off the power bank. Possibly, what will actually happen is the onboard and power bank batteries will run down simultaneously, but that isn't how the manual reads.

I have one of the Anker's that's like 10000mAh. It's in a small digital camera pouch attached with velcro under the stand. I used AT-HC from about 9:00 to 4:30 last Sat.. I turned the power pack on about 30 before I got done.

Here are a few screenshots for the foldable pod setup. I completely understand not wanting 3D printed part says they don't seem to last as long. I'm not sure about that rubber seal inside the pod that seals the water out from the battery compartment it may or may not last repeated battery replacements. But it's another idea if anybody is willing to try it

Correct. PD only works if both the source and load have USB C ports. Power delivery enables both the voltage and current supplied by the source to be consistent with the requirements of the load via handshaking between the load and source contained by the maximum wattage and current rating of the source. That means a 60W PD bank can theoretically supply 5 volts at 12 amps (but is typically limited to 3 to 5 A max to not exceed typical USB cable ratings) or 24 volts at 2.5 A, etc. The Manticore's proprietary USB cable has a USB A plug which limits the output typically to 5 VDC at 3 amps max. So any 10 to 15 watt, 5VDC USB power bank that can supply at least 2A will suffice.

The thing is I could fly my ship before yes with my subscription fee but now they have raise the skill requirements which forces players who had there skills to fly there ships to now resubscribe to a free game sounds like a scam to me.

The Manticore set includes set bonuses that promote using bombs in combat and alchemy items. It is designed for more advanced witchers, who have found and crafted enough bombs at higher tiers to make them useful. More on that later in the guide.

You do not need to start the quest from Lafargue or even follow the order in which I list the locations. However, if you do, the story behind this witcher set and its origins will unfold before you the way the developers have intended it.

Near the marked location, you will find a locked chest and a hooded woman. This is another treasure hunt quest and the hooded figure is an Alp. You can skip them if you are here just for the Manticore scavenger hunt.

There is a group of level 35 Arachnomorphs near the entrance, but you can avoid them by approaching from the west or southwest. Along the path south of the entrance, in the valley, there are two Panthers level 41 that you may encounter. You can use Beast oil and Yrden against them.

The next challenge is to defeat three level 40 Kikimore Workers and save the ghost of a man they were attacking. Insectoid oil, White Honey (if you get poisoned) and Igni help a lot against these creatures.

After you have obtained all of the diagrams, bring them back to Lazare Lafargue. Below you can see the crafting requirements for each item and further down I have helpful information on where to find and how to get the rarest ingredients.

The Grandmaster tier of witcher sets all have unique set bonuses. The more items of the same set you wear, the more bonuses you receive. Below you can read the set bonuses for equipping 3 and 6 of the Manticore pieces.

Bonus for 3 pieces:

Critical hit chance and critical hit damage also apply to bombs. Bombs are thrown without any delay.

Bonus for 6 pieces:

The maximum number of charges for each alchemy item is increased by 1.

Here are the stats of each individual gear piece. The stats are identical in terms of values to the rest of the Grandmaster gear sets. The steel and silver swords have the exact damage min and max values.

The Legendary Manticore School witcher gear set is available in New Game Plus (NG+) in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt Quest and all diagrams are located in the exact same places as in the normal game.
