What is the difference between admit.sas and admit.sas7bdat file?

What is the difference between admit.sas file and admit.sas7bdat file?.

they are both sas program. sas7bdat is just old version of sas program format.

.SAS7BDAT is a extension for SAS dataset, and .SAS is extension for SAS program.
