It was Rachel’s turn to study him queerly. “What do you mean? The choice is obvious. You need to leave Iris immediately, and put that part of your life behind you. For good, this time.”
“Leave Iris?”
“After everything she’s done, how can you not?”
“What about everything Carl’s done?”
