Role: Sr. Storage Engineer + Automation

Location- Marlborough, MA

 

• Developing and maintaining backup plans and schedules and continuously analyzing evolving backup and storage needs.
• Executing backup processes and procedures required to backup and restore user data and systems.
• Maintaining and managing backup and storage systems (including storage area network (SAN) and network area storage (NAS)).
• Capacity management.
• Automation on storage is mandatory, preferably Ansible skills.
• Conducting system restoration activities as needed.
• Able to track, monitor systems storage and make recommendations to maintain storage levels.
• Experience with Storage Devices (SAN, EMC, HP, Dell, and others).
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field
• ITIL v3 Foundation Level certification a plus
• PMP certification a plus
• VMware Certified Professional a plus
• Ansible/ scripting/ Automation skills are must
