to AnonyCon Announce

Hello AnonyCon Attendees and Friends,

We have some bad news for you.  At the beginning of the year, we pushed our usual AnonyCon weekend to January of next year, and now we have made the decision to bring you AnonyCon in December of 2019 ,.  This was not an easy decision, as we hate to deprive our community of our annual event. For many reasons, this has become the best way to ensure that the convention we bring to you is at its best,.  I can talk to you about venues and costs and game submissions, but the bottom line is that we would rather have an amazing convention later than a lackluster convention now. We are open to feedback, and if you’d like to talk to us about this decision, please email me at b...@anonycon.com.

On a more practical note, the Warhorn page, though it has only been open for a short time, has been closed until the registration window for December 2019 comes around (and we will be in continuous communication about the timeline moving forward).  Those of you that have already registered will be receiving a refund of the admission fee you paid, with our sincere apologies. As for any game submissions that we have already received, we are happy to keep those submissions and carry them forward into December.  However, if you submitted a game and would like to rescind your submission until your 2019 plans have been better solidified, you need only to contact us either through Facebook or at b...@anonycon.com.

Finally, we have a request for you. Help us make AnonyCon 2019 the biggest and best year yet!  Build and submit games. The submission link will be active for the next year, so you have plenty of time to create something fun for our audience.  Invite your friends and coworkers to join you in a weekend of gaming. Connect with our community, either through our AnonyCon fan page on facebook or the discord that we created to discuss our games.  Even if you just share our facebook posts, you are helping to make our convention the best version it can be. More than anything, help us keep the momentum moving into next year, and we promise you will not leave AnonyCon disappointed.

We want to apologize to you, AnonyCon.  But more than that, we want to tell you how excited we are for next year.  Thank you for being a part of our community, and we’ll see you in December 2019.
