Destination Truth (six one-hour episodes) is a weekly adventure series
that invites viewers along on one man's search for the truth while
investigating stories of the unexplained across the globe. Josh Gates
is a world adventurer and eager truth-seeker. Every week, Josh and his
small crew of production buddies visit a different destination around
the world that is home to notorious, supernatural and mysterious
stories, such as the Fire Worm of Mongolia and the Chilean Chupacabra
- as well as some lesser-known phenomena, like the dinosaur-like
creatures reported in the skies over Papua, New Guinea; a haunted
village in Thailand; or the wolfman of Argentina. Josh searches for
evidence to either prove or debunk these stories by talking to
witnesses and experts and immersing himself in the local culture.

SciFi producers/staff have been emailing me for a couple years to
obtain my bio and latest projects I'm working on (S.E.A.R.C.H.) and
all of the sudden, they create a show of a guy that travels all over
the globe investigating the paranormal and related mysteries. I
should get consultant fee ;)

It turns out that a film associate on mine works for this team as a
Destination Truth camera/vid operator (Hank Braxtan). A small world
indeed.
