Please note that the children will be touring the city (Empire State
Building, 42nd Street, United Nations, Ground Zero, Statue of Liberty,
Rockefeller Center, The Village,Cruise Line, etc.) The cost is $45.0
for kids up to 10 years old and $80.0 for adults. The bus departs at
10:00 AM on Saturday morning. There will be a little gala Night on
Friday, starting by 8:00 PM and ending by 10:30 /11:00 PM.

Happy July 4th weekend for those of you in the United States. For

As some of you are aware, ANOD (Association of Ndi Ovim in Diaspora)
International Convention will be held in New York City on September 3,
2011. The morning program will be exclusively for people from Ovim to
meet and discuss various issues that impact our homeland, as well
as develop an action plan to assist the disadvantaged, including, among
other things, the Medical Clinic. This phase will take place at the
Church Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Newtown, Elmhurst, NY,
and will run from 8 am to 2 pm. Subsequently will be a tour of places
of interest while the kids embark on a trip to the Bronx Zoo.
The main event or evening program will be at the Laquardia Airport
Hotel as shown on the attached flyer. It will be packed with a lot of
entertainment, so come prepared to have fun.We request that you
purchase your tickets way ahead of time so that you will be ushered to
your seat in a dignified manner as you arrive. Moreover, the early
purchase will assist the Hotel to plan out the event as this is a fully
catered event. You may contact any of the people listed in the flyer
for your tickets.
