The song, "Tum Kya Mile", was filmed in March 2023 in Jammu & Kashmir, thus wrapping the film.[29] Johar has said that the "Tum Kya Mile" sequence was inspired by the romantic songs in Yash Chopra's films while the "Dhindora Baje Re" sequence was inspired by the scale and grandeur of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films.[16] He also paid tribute to actress Sadhana with the song "What Jhumka?", adapted from her song "Jhumka Gira Re" in the film Mera Saaya (1966).[30]

So having him be sort of dance around her and try to jolly her into joining in works well with his skills and her skills. Meanwhile, having her give us character beats, showing how she is loosening up and feeling happier, works to her strengths. It feels a little bit Humpty Sharma in a good way, the hero is heart on his sleeve over the top, and Alia keeps her feelings inside.
