This is a great added feature! I'm looking for a way for a Teacher to complete the Certificate activity for a student so that the notifications that are set in the Certificate activity are acted upon. In the Certificate activity settings > Issue options > upon Teacher completion of the activity (in the Activity completion report) The email that is set in the Certificate activity, Issue options "Email others" addresses, that address receives an email, and the "Delivery" set to "email", means the user will receive the Certificate in their email.

Any alternative is welcome. Basically looking for a way for teachers to complete a course for students, where the teacher and student receive email notification upon that completion, and that the Certificate is made available, and/or emailed to the student, by this same action.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I could log in as them and complete the activity but it's a SCORM package that takes about 20 minutes to complete (plus, I'd have to know the correct answers to complete the quiz!). There's a few students that I need to complete it for so that's not really an option.

Important note: If a course-complete student on post-completion OPT does NOT finish his or her degree during the 12 months of Post-completion OPT, he or she is NOT eligible for a program extension. This means the student would need to prepare to change status, change education level and/or transfer to a new U.S. school, or depart the country prior to the end of the 60-day OPT grace period.

Indiana state law requires all new, regularly enrolled students attending residential campuses of Indiana public universities be immunized against Rubeola (10 day measles), Rubella (German measles), Mumps, Meningitis, Diphtheria, and Tetanus. This law requires the university to block the enrollment of any student who does not comply with immunization requirements. If your record is held for immunization noncompliance, registration for future courses cannot be completed until all requirements have been met.

Yes. If you have started the vaccine but are unable to complete the 2nd dose because of the dosing schedule (28 days or 6 months between vaccines), PUSH staff will give you more time to complete the series when we review your submission.

Students who took previous classes through Purdue, either on campus or as an online student, will be considered "former students" until classes start. Once classes start, the student's population will correct itself and they will be able to enter immunization dates. If you'd like to submit immunization dates before classes start, please email s...@purdue.edu.

A medical exemption will be granted upon receipt of a written statement from a healthcare provider indicating the nature and duration of the medical condition which contraindicates an immunization, as well as the specific vaccine identified as detrimental to the student's health or certifying pregnancy or suspected pregnancy. Medical exemptions expire when the medical condition(s) contraindicating immunization change in a manner which permits immunization.

Your instructor may require you to submit a peer review of another student's assignment. To complete the assignment, you must review the student's assignment and add a comment in the comment sidebar.

Some peer reviews may also be anonymous, which means you cannot view the name of the student whose assignment you are reviewing. Additionally, the student cannot see your name as the reviewer when you leave a comment to complete the review.

Under Assigned Peer Reviews, you will see any peer reviews assigned to you. Click the name of the assigned peer whose work you will be reviewing. The caution sign icon [1] indicates the peer review has not been completed. A checkmark icon [2] indicates that you have completed the peer review.

First Day Complete ensures complete academic freedom for faculty and is proven to positively impact student well-being and academic outcomes. Students are more prepared for class, and institutions see higher course completion rates across student populations.

Diploma programs vary in length, but usually require at least one year to complete. Students enrolled in diploma courses are generally interested in longer-term training than certificate students, but less than degree level.

The University defines a complete semester withdrawal as the termination of a student's enrollment for any given semester after Census Date. Students are no longer registered for any courses, nor have they completed any courses. A student wanting to withdraw from all courses after the course Census Dates, is requesting a 'complete semester withdrawal.'

After the 'Last Day to Withdraw without Permission', a student requesting a 'complete semester withdrawal' must complete a Complete Semester Withdrawal Request Form. Before this date students can drop and withdraw freely in their myUCCS Portal. Any course drop after its Census Date will receive a W grade and no refund. For information about drop and withdrawal deadline, please see the Office of the Registrar's Drop and Withdrawal Policies and Procedures.

A student wanting to drop a course (or multiple courses) before that course's Census Date, is requesting a 'course drop'. Courses that are dropped by 11:59pm (MST) on the course Census Date will be refunded tuition and most fees, will not receive any grade, and will not appear on a student's transcript. A student dropping all of their courses by each course's Census Date is cancelling their enrollment for that semester. Students can drop courses in their myUCCS portal from their initial enrollment appointment until 11:59pm (MST) on each course's Census Date.

To initiate the process, complete the Add/Drop form. Next, seek permission from your faculty, and then the appropriate college administrator. If you are unsure who to contact for administrator approval, your instructor can likely direct you to the right person. Please ask them who you should talk to next. In some cases, your faculty may refer you to a specific college process. You may also contact the Office of the Registrar for additional information on course drops.

After the last day to withdraw: If you are seeking a complete semester withdrawal from all of your classes after the last day to withdraw, you will need to work with the Office of the Dean of Students. If you are unsure of course deadlines, please review the Office of the Registrar's Drop and Withdrawal Policies and Procedures.

The first step is to review the General Information above and complete the Complete Semester Withdrawal Request webform. After you submit the form, you will be contacted by the Office of the Dean of Students to schedule an appointment to review your situation. During busy periods, this may take up to three business days.
