I am currently working on a relatively large model, requiring 3.500.000 elements. When i press solve, the 'Nastran File Progress Window' pops up and the inventor window freezes at a progress between 10-20%. I have killed the progress many times after hours of waiting, but let it sit overnight the other day. I was then able to see that the nastran file progress took almost 8 hours to finish.!

I read in "Load an existing NAS file" that the .nas file can be edited and run through the stand-alone nastran editor application. - But as I understand it, I still have to create the .nas file from within Inventor.
