OUR IRISH LASS HAS ARRIVED
“Delcash Destiny”, our senior Irish lass at the farm, was picked up
last weekend by Jeff & Becky Brecht. She’s spending some time with
them pending some medical results. Reports are she’s doing very well
there.

HOUND UPDATES
“Nicolas” aka “CTW Flash Flood” is doing very well. Every day we see
a bit more of his personality. He went Saturday to be interviewed at
our boarding facility and was … treated to a spa day. Both David and
I could not imagine life without him. He is amazing, and we cannot
stop hugging him. Our other two dogs have taken to him quickly.
Where one is, the other two are right behind. He’s an amazing dog.
Glen”

“Winky” aka “CTW Tiddlywinks…has really come out of her shell, and
what a personality she has. Tail wagging all the time, bouncing all
over the house…She’s just the sweetest girl we could have ever asked
for, and so responsive and well-behaved…She now has three beds
scattered through the house, and we’ve concluded that she’s pretty
spoiled and likes it that way. Monica & Scott Weaver

SENIOR OF THE WEEK: CTW Upper Hand
“CTW Upper Hand” was born April 2001 and just celebrated her 11th
birthday. Can you imagine the stories she could tell? She’s small,
having run 102 races at 72 pounds. WOW, she was one fast little
girl! “Upper Hand” is definitely the “Queen Mom” because she’s the
daughter of “Molotov” and the granddaughter of “HB’s Commander” (see
bios following).

Bio of Molotov: U.S. Hall of Fame 2007, Winner 1996 Mile High Great
Expectations; Set two track records at Mile High in only 7 career
races. His track record of 30.96 still stands. #1 NGA Sire Standings
1999-2003. 7,725 offspring: 1464 (19%) ran in major/feature races.
From the 17,101 2nd offspring 2066 ran in major/feature races.
1994-2006.

Bio of HB’s Commander: 11-1-1 in 18 starts at Southland, but injured
early and retired to stud. #4 1993 Sire Standings, #1 1994-1997.
3,035 offspring, 295 (10%) ran in major/feature races. From the 9,468
2nd offspring 1285 did run in major/feature races. Inducted into the
NGA Hall of Fame in 1999. 1987-1995.

DON’T FORGET TO HUG YOUR HOUNDS AND SAVE A FEW FOR THE OLD LADIES AT
