FAIR
Mac Shelton & Dixie, Ed & Angela Panacci & ZZ, Monica Weaver & Winky.
A great big thanks to Tish Strandboge for coordinating this event two
years in a row. Unfortunately, the horrible weather kept most of Sun
City's senior indoors that day!
AN EMAIL FROM AMBER JOY (FORMERLY CTW ZINGARA)
"Hello to all. This marks the fifth-week anniversary in my new home.
I really like my new home. I have a big yard to run and play in and
sleep on a big pillow when I get tired. My new owners are very nice
and very smart. They have learned to sit, stay, lie down and not beg
while I am eating. They walk very nicely when holding a lead and are
friendly with the neighbors and other dogs. They always let me know
when they have to go out. If they are really nice to me, I let them
pet me and brush me. I do not like their brushing my teeth and have
made it very clear to them I do not like chicken flavored toothpaste.
They have learned so much in a few weeks. Next week I will work on
teaching them to fetch. I will give you another report in a month or
so to let you know how they are doing.
Amber Joy"
CONDOLENCES
Kurt and Debbie Garr have lost Merlin, their big ten year old male
greyhound, to cancer. Merlin was the sweetest thing every and loved to
lay on the couch with his head on your lap. The Garrs are really
special people: They adopted our beloved Smoke Screen who had to have
a leg removed and was eventually lost also. They also adopted Smoke's
mother, Paloma, an old brood that helped complete their family.
They've had a few sweet Bassetts, too. Feel free to send condolences.
GREYT ADOPTIONS

AVAILABLE
CTW Socialite had had one of her toes amputated on her left rear
foot. It had been crushed in her formative years. She was walking on
all fours and managed to do a little "glad pawing" at the RR M&G.
Thanks, Mrs. Roach, for taking such good care of this sweet little
girl. GET EM WHILE THEY'RE HOT.
AND REMEMBER TO HUG YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOUNDS!
