The First AGA Newsletter in 2015

There are still 355 days left in this new year to make a difference in a greyhound’s life.  If you’re reading this right now, odds are you currently have at least one long-legged critter on a nearby couch or fluffy bed.  Have you ever thought about how your wonderful pet – or pets – made the journey from the farm to your home?  AGA is always looking for foster families to help transform beautiful racing machines into loving family pets.  Please contact one of your officers or directors to inquire.  Thank you (rooooo!)

 

A Meet & Greet This Weekend

Sunday, January 11th, from 1-3pm at the IKEA Center PetSmart, Round Rock. 

 

2015 Brings New M&G Locations

1. Petco, Kyle: 5100 Kyle Center Dr., in Kyle, 3^rd Saturday each month, 1-3 pm, Hostess:  Martha Grissom

2. PetSmart, Temple: 3550 S. General Bruce Dr., in Temple, 4^th Saturday each month, 1-3 pm. 

And More Changes:

AGA was founded in 2007 by a few special folks who loved retired racers and who were willing to work to find them forever homes.  In the almost 15 years since its conception AGA has not changed its adoption fees although other groups in our area have.  The increase effective January 1, 2015 will include chipping not currently included in the vet package.

 

Standard adoptions:  $225 w/a $50 non-refundable deposit (2-6 yr)

Senior adoptions:  $100 w/a $50 non-refundable deposit

Puppies:  $300 w/a non-refundable deposit (0-12 mo)
