This past Friday Austin Greyhound Adoption turned 8 years old! Congratulations to all the wonderful greyhounds that have come through our adoption program and their fantastic adopters.
We will be having a Greyt anniversary celebration on April 25th at the Zoom Room in Austin from 4-6 pm. Amber Weimann is putting the finishing touches on the party and full details will be coming soon. Mark your calendars for this fun event!

Also April 30th is Austin Greyhound Adoption night at the Round Rock Express baseball game. If you are interested in helping tell the Express fans what great pets a greyhound makes then please let me know so that I can schedule you a volunteer time slot. We will be there from 5PM until the end of the game. To volunteer please send an email to cmill...@att.net. See you at the ballgame!

Do you have unwanted stuff just hanging around your house? You can turn your trinkets into treasure for the greyhounds! On May 2 AGA will be setting up a yard sale at 3802 Bobby Jones Way during the annual yard sale in Forest Creek in Round Rock. We are collecting your no longer needed treasures so that we can resell them for the hounds. All money earned that day will go directly to help with expenses for the greyhounds that come into the AGA adoption program.
If you have anything you would like to donate you can drop it off at Amber Weimann's home at 3802 Bobby Jones Way in Round Rock. Please call prior to drop off at 512-507-3486. If you need items picked up call Chris at 817-366-6264. Thank you from the hounds.

Calling all north adopters...on April 11th Austin Greyhound Adoption is participating in an All Breed Adoption Event at Gander Mountain, 2701 S Jack Kultgen Expressway, Waco. The event runs from 11 AM until 3 PM. Volunteers are needed to help at our space. Please contact Chris at cmill...@att.net. Please put Waco event in the subject line.

Help Wanted :
Public Relations: We are in need of someone to write and email a monthly newsletter for our adopters.

Foster Homes: we are always in need of foster homes. We will have 4 new greyhounds coming into the adoption program as soon as foster homes are available. Could you be that bridge between racing and retirement? We can't take them unless you take them in. Please contact Chris at cmill...@att.net if you are interested in helping the hounds.
