Special Foster Home Needed

(All Fosters are “Special”, BTW)

JSK Maxwell (“Max”) is a newly-retired four year old greyhound.  He is a really sweet and quiet boy but is not cat tolerant.  This happy boy had an episode of “happy tail” and needs someone to look after him while he recovers from his injury.  If you are the person to help Max through this recovery, please contact Chris at 817-366-6264.  Thank you for helping!

What’s “Happy Tail”?

Some greyhounds are so happy to finally be free to run for fun that they show their happiness with heavy duty tail-wagging! This furious and frantic tail-wagging can cause injury to the tip of the tail which can then cause significant 'blood splatter'

(in CSI terms!)

Speaking of Fosters

AGA needs ‘em!!!

New Fundraiser – WoofTrax:  Walk for a Dog

Introducing: WoofTrax, a new fundraising tool for AGA.

When you set up your information on their website be sure to put your name, etc..

AGA has been added to the Walk for a Dog program!

Here are a few ways to help you succeed in fundraising with Walk for a Dog:

  • Get as many people as possible to download the app. Both Android and iPhone apps are now available. Direct your supporters to WoofTrax.com to get the app and start walking for your rescue!
  • Make our literature available. Show supporters you’re involved in the program with AGA’s business cards; print them yourself or send the PDF to a printing company to order in bulk.
  • Add Walk for a Dog to your website. Display one of our banners from the WoofTrax web site on your home page to spread the word.

Thank your walkers! When you get a check from WoofTrax, let your supporters know about it and thank them for their efforts. This will keep them walking and make subsequent checks even larger.

For additional marketing materials and tips visit WoofTrax.com/shelters. The more people walking for AGA, the more we can donate. Please direct any questions to WoofTrax:
