JANUARY OPPORTUNITIES
AGA LOSES ONE OF ITS BEAUTIFUL DOGS
Thanks to everyone who helped with the search for Big Buyer aka
Clyde. Prayers, positive thoughts, and on-the-ground searches
continue to speak to the kind of people AGA is composed of. Clyde was
found dead yesterday afternoon about a mile from his home by a lady
riding her horse. His cause of death is undetermined, possibly a car.
His owner, Kenna Graunke is, of course, broken hearted as are those of
us who were involved with his adoption or knew him. Please take this
tragedy to heart as you evaluate the safety of your greys:
1.Martingale collar on and intact (if not, buy a new MARTINGALE
collar.)
2.AGA, Vet and Owner tags? (Three tags increase the odds of
identification.)
3.Fenced area still secure? (Dogs dig, etc. Any holes under your
fence?)
4.Bolts on fence gates? (Children are notorious about leaving gates
open.)
5.Plenty of water outside? (even in winter months)
6.NEVER, EVER let your greyhound off lead in a non-secure area. Don't
be foolish enough to trust that he will not instinctively run if
something attracts his attention.
