posts, articles, and blog - need blog in menu & want to keep articles, too.

Hi all,

I appreciate this wonderful platform and thank the developers for working so hard on it!  Cheers!

My questions is related to articles, posts, and the blog.  The website at present (http://www.licsjournal.org/) is in the early stages of development.  In the perfect world, I'd have the option to:

1.  Have a blog (currently entries are listed under "Blog Posts" in the right hand sidebar) whose link can live on the top navigation bar.
2.  Have the landing page be the "Recent Articles" page (already is by default).

I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get a link to the "Blog" on the sidebar because the "posts" page automatically goes to articles (and I want it to go to articles) . . . is there a way to have both?  In other words, I need the menu navigation to include everything it has now as well as a "Blog" link that goes to a list of posts - not articles. 

Any help would be much appreciated!  Thnx so much!!

Go to appearance>menus and add your "uncategorised" category in the menu (see the categories field below pages)

You may want to rename you default category "uncategorised" to "Blog" or "Announcements" .... or any other

This method might not be ideal but could still work.
