Hi all,
The 16th Semantic Web in Libraries Conference (SWIB24) takes place 25 – 27 November 2024! The event is online and free of charge.
The conference features seven workshops this year, and one of them is ours: we’ll be hosting a workshop on Annif on Nov 25th (preliminary timeslot: 8-12 UTC). So if you’d like to learn and hear more about Annif, sign up by following the instructions on the registration page. We will discuss Annif and go through the Annif tutorial material which can be found on GitHub.
Note that the tutorial materials (videos and exercises) are intended to be studied and hopefully completed before the workshop event, which leaves time to focus more on troubleshooting, inquiries, and discussions during the workshop.
But of course there is more to SWIB than that, further info and the full program are on the SWIB24 web site. You might e.g. be interested in learning more about automated extraction of bibliographic metadata and hear the presentation by Pierre Beauguitte and Osma Suominen on the latest advances.
