Better usage of church buildings

As I see it, and where as church buildings, IMO, sit idle too much of the
time, I "think" that they would be of better usage if they become more like
Shilo. A place dedicated to nothing more than feeding the hungry, clothing
them, helping people with electricity and telephone bills, say 24 hours a
day. A storehouse where the people of God can share in the bounty that God
has provided them.

I agree with you Steven. Church doors shouldn't just open on Sundays. Ours
is a seven day a week faith. Food pantries, schools, job training, concerts,
thrift shops, counseling programs, twelve step meetings and more need to be
part of our ministry.

I've often thought that cemeteries would be more useful if we combined them
with driving ranges or golf courses.
