One of the nice things about WET's is not having to look for your own images but it definitely would be interesting. I vote for images provided - either way would be fun!

Ok, I'm taking a poll here .... Got my pencil and paper ready for taking notes.

How many of you prefer a theme weekend , where you all hunt for your own graphics. on a subject that I choose ... and How many prefer I post the images myself?

I know some of us have a huge lack of time to do all the searching due to work etc ... SO ..it is up to you guys. I will go with majority vote ..*S*

You have a good point there Bre' . I too belong to a couple of other
newsgroups and have to separate the WET's , from the TOW, from the Themes
and it does become confusing.

I'll make a note of that , and others here should do the same as it is an
great idea to avoid mix ups

Also you have just as much say as anyone else around here ..... new or old
we are equals *S*

Snowey,

I am new here so I guess I don't have much say. I would prefer to find my
own graphics. One thing that I find hard is looking for the "theme" maybe a
common SUBJECT line...Like "Weeks THEME Aug. 11-13"....Something like
that...Just my thought....I belong to all the newsgroups so time is hard
sometimes to remember what theme is where...

Thanks for allowing the imput...

duly noted Mark *S*
Will see what everyone else has to say and then make a decision. Theme
weekends with JB were a blast though ....which is why I asked. Also Jan
Marie did a sexy hunk/ hunkette weekend theme, where we had to hunt for and
make sexy stationery or dream man/woman stationery. We rolled on the floor
laughing .... so both have their advantages..And it breaks the monotony of
seeing the same images over and over again .... :o)

different uses everyone comes up with for each image.

Hey, we had a blast with the hunk/hunkette theme didn't we? The around the
world theme. Don't know which ones I missed for that month I was in
Arizona. Personally, I like the theme idea. It's different from all the
other NG. It gives you more freedom. Theme. It forces you to use your
imagination. Theme. It's different. Theme. It's good for the soul.
Theme. Theme. I vote for theme. But I guess it's too late, huh? You
didn't even wait to get all the votes in. Here I am crawling all day long.
Problems with my cable. It's been taking 3 min just to download 4kb
replies. It's taken me this long to get to this posting, and you already
finished the voting. It's not fair. I demand a recount. Whatever happened
to democracy? Geez. Theme.

image. So if you wouldn't mind....

Welcome Bre! Your input is just as important as everyone else's. Everyone
is important here whether your making stationery or just cheering us on.

Personally I like the theme idea but since you are the hostess it's your
choice is it not. The one thing that is important to remember is that we
all do this for fun. It is not mandatory to participate using the images or
theme that is provided; you can post what you like as long as you are
reasonable (lets not get carried away). I did like Tudy's idea. She
provided the images but also ask that a poem be included even though I don't
know much about poetry. I have liked everything for the simple reason that
it allows for individuality, it lets us know who you are (to some degree)
It's nice getting to know someone, their likes dislikes and so forth.

I think the problem is you guys are all just too lazy!!!!!! Theme is more
fun. It gives you much more freedom. Come on people. How can you exercise
your true creativity if all you do is get some pictures thrown at you.
Geez. This is a tough crowd!
Ooops. Guess I should have posted this to someone else's thread since you
already agreed with me. Aren't I silly!

FWIW, I have had to make a folder called "WETS" and then a subfolder for
each group, then under that I put the current pictures for that group, or if
it is a subject, I put in a "new text document" (done with a right click),
and make the file name the subject. Only way I have found to keep them all
straight! LOL
Sig
As far as subject verses pics: I don't know LOL
If the pics end up being just the same stationery only framed differently it
isn't very interesting. But when all the stationery looks SO different but
made from the same thing, it can be really cool. You just never know what
will happen with any thing when it comes to stationery<g>
