Sounds like a "reasonable" excuse, and since Earl doesn't want to fly across the "big pond", there'll be no dungeon time for you :o). Good luck on the new 'puter.

Sorry I've been away for a few days. We did a major computer reconstruction this week and we just got things going again today. Mike and I rebuilt my desktop. The hard drive I bought was bad. We tested it at work. We ended up getting a new mother board and case and striping all the parts out of the desktop and building a new computer. It was fun doing this with my son. He is really quite good at this and I guess we had a "bonding" experience. Anyway, please don't send me to the dungeons for being gone without a pass.

I also took some time and got our computer and guest rooms cleaned up and presentable. I was tired of having junk lying around. You can now see my the top of my desk.

I gave my old rebuilt computer to Jenny, and now have to get a new one for me. I am going to get a no name computer built to my specifications. I am tired of the proprietary crap I've had to deal with from my Compaqs. I can get a very good system here for around $1500.

Last weekend we moved Jenny into what used to be our guest room. It is a bigger room than her old one and has a bay type window that she has her desk in. The only downside is if we get guests, she has to give them her room because it has a queen size bed in it. Since we have not had one visitor in the year we have been here, I don't think it will be a problem.

I hope I haven't missed too much. I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Susie
