read these FAQs. Your cooperation and compliance is sincerely appreciated.
This FAQ is provided as a guideline for what is acceptable use on this
board. These are not issues to be discussed or argued in a public forum on
this board. If you have questions, concerns or suggestions, please feel
free to post it to the board or contact one of the board moderators. Someone

The Rules (plain and simple)
a.. Posting Size Max: 200KB (or as small as you can make them)
b.. No Nudity or Strange Postings (family-oriented only)
c.. Limited Scripting Allowed (ask if you don't know please)
d.. ASF posts are acceptable, but please include ASF in the Subject line
for others that do not wish to download the necessary Active X component.
e.. Posting or distributing software through this board is illegal and
strongly discouraged.
f.. Have fun and enjoy the company of some of the finest stationers on the
Net!
Group Focus
This group was formed to provide people with a place to create and enjoy
'downhome' stationery. Our definition of 'downhome' is anything universally
accepted as family-oriented. Our main focus is to provide stationery that
can be sent to or viewed by children and family members.
This is also not a forum that is used extensively for scripting. We use
simple scripts here...widely, a simple top scroll and vertical scroll are
used. If you're not sure, please ask. Someone will be happy to provide you
with the scripts we use here at downhome.
A warning/request to Scrippy Users and heavier scripting stationers.
Many of our members have limited capacity computers and are unable to view
heavy scripting (particularly Scrippy-created stationery). Refraining from
such use so that ALL members can enjoy the board equally will be sincerely
appreciated.
Theme of the Weekend (TOW)
Each weekend the group has a flurry of activity surrounding a selected topic
by a chosen TOW host/hostess. The TOW begins on Friday and ends on Sunday.
A new hostess is chosen on Wednesday and an announcement is posted. On
Sunday, an announcement for the following weekend's theme will be posted.
This allows all that wish to participate time to collect images and spin
their magic. It's really quite a parade of creativity, so we hope you'll
join us each weekend.
Disclaimer and Personal Use Policy
Our members work very hard on each and every piece of stationery they
create. Snagging for personal use is the best form of flattery to a
stationer and is most welcomed from the board. However, please note that
some stationery may use copyrighted material (with or without the knowledge
of the creator) and should be treated with caution. Personal use means only
for your computer usage and NONE of the creations should be archived for
collections (on any medium) nor posted to a website without proper credit or
permission granted beforehand. The moderators, members or server owner of
this board are not liable nor responsible for the misuse of copyrighted
materials.
Most of all, we hope you enjoy your stay here at Downhome Stationery. We
look forward to sharing our creations with you, and hoping you'll do the
same!
