I use Ubuntu for 99.9% of what I do, rather than Win10, for a number of reasons (it is free, it isn't continually trying to be my friend or sell me something, it is much more responsive, and it does most of what I could need). However, there are some disadvantages. I'm currently trying to tackle the PRINT command, which is supposedly better than the WLOG command for diagnostics.  Does anyone have actual experience of a 16 or 32-bit annex device reporting via wifi to a serial console under Linux?  I know I can use UDP but that is rather complicated especially with several devices running.  Ideally it would be something as simple as WLOG.

By the by, I can run Win 10 or XP/64 under Ubuntu via Virtualbox, or I could use WINE, but I can't get the Toolkit to work fully in these ways, so I have to resort to a separate machine for initial flashing, and don't really use the Toolkit for anything else.  If anyone has got one of these routes working that would be helpful. I'm not trying to burden cicciocb.
