Dear ColleaguesAs we step into the new year and we start with new year resolutions, some achieved and many dumped as we keep moving into life like the ordinary and the zest of the first few days gets lost in the rhythm of daily routine I pause to simply tell you what I think is simple to apply. It’s the personal bit that I am sharing with you. There is no new year resolution but just a reminder to continue doing what I have always done and kept close to my heart, simple words…. TRY… DO….HONESTY….SELF BELIEF….these words have always guided me and as time goes by they are becoming more and more powerful and meaningful. Our achievements should never matter for us personally but I have realised that if there is honest attempt to do with self belief it does come back as a personal achievement also. I want to simply tell the educators in all of us to keep trying with every child… never give up and believe that every child can be a better version of himself/herself. Our trust is their anchor to success. Let no fear ever stop us from not correcting our children… no law on earth is stronger than the duty to form character for an educator.I wish that every child who comes in touch with me remembers me later in life with love and affection and good wishes only because I cared and only because I thought it my responsibility to try to do my best honestly with self belief and belief in every child’s potential. Hope this remains my life long resolution. I am always inspired by the words of Sohanlal Dwevedi….
LEHRON SE DARKAR NOKA PAAR NAHIN HOTI
KOSHISH KARNE WALON KI KABHI HAAR NAHIN HOTI
Lets make this into our life long resolution to guide us through all our doubtful and tumultuous moments!
Happy New Year!!
