Happy December all,

Sorry I have been out of touch. I hope to update the calendar and send out the normal email but wanted to send out a notice in regards to the Fat Ass 50 - December 26 at the Pinckney Recreation Area.

Most of you are aware of this event and know that I have been the non-race director for the past 2 years. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to take part this year.

That being said I think people should still show up as planned and go run off some of those excess holiday calories. It would be great if one of you would be willing to act as the non-race director and help pair people who are unfamiliar with the course with one of the veterans - we wouldn't want to have anyone get lost out there.

I am sorry to cancel out this close to the event but seeing that this is really a non-event I think you can still make it happen.

I hope each of you will still get out there and enjoy the trails and really wish that I could join you.
