<div>The Last Lear is a 2007 Indian English-language drama film directed by Rituparno Ghosh. The film won the National Award of India for Best Feature Film in English in 2007.[2] The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, Shefali Shah and Jisshu Sengupta. Shefali Shah won the Best Supporting Actress National Award for her role in the movie. It was produced by Arindam Chaudhuri of Planman Motion Pictures.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Basing the script on Utpal Dutt's semiautobiographical play Aajker Shahjahan, Rituparno Ghosh penned it in 2006, and turned to the actors in February 2007, all of whom accepted the offer.[3] The film began shooting from 28 February 2007 to 10 April 2007; principal shooting took place in Kolkata and some shooting took place in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.[3] Dubbing for the film ended on 31 August 2007.[4]</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>The Last Lear In Hindi 720p Download</div><div></div><div>DOWNLOAD: https://t.co/4AlGBO67VY </div><div></div><div></div><div>The Last Lear premiered at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September[5] and received a significant reception, earning many accolades after being showcased at a Gala Presentation.[6]</div><div></div><div></div><div>The film was later showcased at the London Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of India in Goa.[7] The film was received positively by critics with many saying that Bachchan has given a career best performance.[8]</div><div></div><div></div><div>The story revolves around Harish Mishra (Amitabh Bachchan), a retired Shakespearean theatre actor who spent precisely thirty years and nine months on stage and then suddenly quit, and his first and last act as a cinema artist. He is immensely passionate about Shakespeare, believes that nothing even comparable can ever be written, knows all his plays by heart, lives in those stories, condemns modern cinema and considers theatre as a much higher artform for directors and actors to convey their message to an audience.</div><div></div><div></div><div>It is Diwali, a time when box offices are flooded with new releases and Shabnam (Preity Zinta) has to attend the premiere of her latest movie: The Mask. However, she decides to visit her co-star Harish and heads to a cubbyhole of old Kolkata where Harish is bedridden in a coma. He is being taken care by Vandana (Shefali Shah) and a nurse, Ivy (Divya Dutta). Vandana treats Shabnam with spite as she blames her and the entire cast and crew for Harish's condition. But soon they are seen bonding over tea and are involved in a conversation about Harish. In flashbacks, their story and equation with Harish emerges.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The movie sees parallel narration from Goutam (Jisshu Sengupta), a journalist who recalls his encounters with the veteran actor. He had suggested Harish for the lead role to his elder brother Siddharth (Arjun Rampal) who happens to be an ambitious perfectionist director. After a casual meeting with Harish, Siddharth realizes that to convince Harish to act in his film, he has to win his trust and establish a relationship with him. And, hence, the impatient young auteur attempts to win the trust and collaboration of the aged performer, who sits raging against the modern world from the sanctuary of his study.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Harish finally agrees to act in the film. Shooting happens on the stunning Himalayan foothills of Mussoorie. On the sets he befriends Shabnam and teaches her lessons on acting, life and Shakespeare. As the story unfolds one gets to know his relationship with Vandana, the reason behind his quitting theatre and last but not the least the reason for his illness. The Last Lear becomes a captivating reflection on the comparative artifices of stagecraft and cinema.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Nirpal Dhaliwal of The Guardian called it "The most god-awful film I have ever seen", criticizing its use of rather hammy English language than Hindi and mentioning that the main actor, Amitabh Bachchan, is a combination of Steve McQueen, James Stewart and Sean Connery all rolled into one but in this film he is closer to Bruce Forsyth and Derek Jacobi.[9]</div><div></div><div></div><div>Janet Gruttsman of Reuters mentioned that the film does not have any song and dance routines which are usual highlights in Bollywood cinema.[10] IndiaGlitz praised the film's cinematography and acting but criticized its screenplay, especially the ending.[11] Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com gave it 3 out of 5 stars saying that "[The problem with The Last Lear] is that while Ghosh builds Harry's aura to perfection, everyone around him fails to reach out."[12]</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Last Lear-the title was intriguing. The star cast was a sure draw. What were Amitabh, Priety, Arjun Rampal doing in here? And the director-Rituparno Ghosh. It sure did sound interesting. When the movie was telecast a few times in Zee Studios, it drew my attention. And I was mesmerised.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The story is told in narration by the only leading ladies in the cast in their POV. The smallest human elements are brought out splendidly here-the nurse with a suspecting boyfriend, the reporter who comes to interview Harish, the last scene where Shabnam(Priety) meets AB, mumbling Shakespeare all along, wonderful.</div><div></div><div></div><div>In a film like this, some may find it boring and lacking in action. But it is as fantastic as a film should be. The scene where AB interviews a passerby to confirm his theories/deductions is a sample of the quick witted dialogue exchange and amply highlights the intellectual level of the actors involved. Equally moving is the scene where Bachan crawls on his knees to Rampal demanding one last chance.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The nuances of a stage actor are brought out excellently by AB(who else?) The man is amazing at this age and is damn lucky to get a script like this. He outshines in every frame till the last. Underplaying an intense role is no easy feat. Considering I have myself acted in Hamlet in my school function, I would say that every lover of the Bard and AB will love this film.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Since 1990, Learjet has been a subsidiary of Bombardier Jets. In February 2021, Bombardier (BBD-B.TO) announced it was discontinuing the production of Learjets, however, it would continue to provide support and maintenance for the popular aircraft that are still in use.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The final Learjet was delivered to Northern Jet Management in Grand Rapids, Michigan, late last week. Northern Jet Management has other Learjet models to their fleet including the first and last Learjet 70, the 100th Learjet 40 and the 600th Learjet 45.</div><div></div><div></div><div>On its company Facebook page, Northern Jet Management posted a picture of employees surrounding the aircraft with the message "Monday the 28th of [March] 2022 saw the end for one of the most popular business jet families ever. After almost 60 years of production, bombardier_jets have delivered their final Learjet. northernjetmanagement had the honor of taking delivery of the Learjet 75, which is the 24 in their fleet."</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Learjet was designed by William (Bill) Lear, an inventor and aviation businessman. Lear started designing a private jet in the 1950s. Jet aircraft were new technology, and there were many designs that never made it off the drawing board. That changed when Lear opted to adapt a Swiss ground-attack fighter, the FFA P-16, that had never been built. Lear formed the Swiss American Aircraft Corporation in Switzerland, hired engineers, and the work began.</div><div></div><div></div><div>By 1962, the project was relocated to Wichita, Kansas, because Lear felt the project was taking too long in Switzerland, and in Wichita, there was already a workforce with the necessary skill set to build aircraft.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The first Learjet, built by what became known as the Lear Jet Corp., rolled off the assembly line in October 1963. Known as Learjet 23 (for model 23), the aircraft could seat as many as eight people. The production models began to appear in 1964.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Over the years, the company went through several name changes, becoming Lear Jet Industries Inc., and then in 1967, the company merged with the Gates Rubber Company of Denver, Colorado, and became Gates Learjet Corp.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Aircraft aren't the only thing Lear invented. He is also known for developing the 8-track cartridge audio tape and developing the technology that made it possible to reduce the size of electronics, which enabled radios to be installed into aircraft without a significant weight issue. During his 46-year career he received over 120 patents.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Known for his command in dialogue delivery, Bachchan enthralls his audience ensuring they are glued to screens from first frame to last. Running two parallel stories one of Harry and the other of the three leading ladies in the film, the film is well scripted but somewhere the continuity takes a hit with multiple flashbacks. But classy acting substitutes these shortcomings well.</div><div></div><div></div><div>While the plot that largely runs on flash back brings out how Harry comes to terms with modern cinema techniques and somewhere gets into the trappings of cinema. The other side of the story revolves around how three women Vandana, Ivy and Shabnam are pondering and debating over strained relations.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Shabnam has to attend the premiere of her latest movie: The Mask. However, she decides to visit her co-star Harish and heads to a small area of old Kolkata where Harish is bedridden in a coma. This is when the three ladies get chatting. Each one of the three Divya Dutta, Shefali Shah and Preity Zinta cast a spell.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The movie sees parallel narration from Jisshu Sengupta, who recalls his encounters with the veteran actor. The Last Lear is a case in point if one may say so on comparative artforms of stagecraft and cinema.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Last Lear premiered at reputed festivals including the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival and the London Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of India in Goa. Critics call it a once in a lifetime performance and role for Bachchan.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I am the daughter of an extraordinary man, and I have been a loving observer of his life for more than six decades. On July 27th, 2022, he turns 100! As the second of his six children, I marvel not only that he has lived to be 100, but that he has enjoyed the heck out of getting here, learning just as much from his challenges as from his victories. So, what are his secrets?</div><div></div><div></div><div>The first time I met Bill Lear, he walked up to me and said, "I hear you fly." With more bravado than I felt, I said that I did. My five-year history of private aviation hardly put me in Bill's "Elite Flyer" class. "Think you can handle this?" he said, pointing to the incredibly sleek, ivory white Lear 23 that was parked 10 feet away. "Sure," I heard myself say, mentally measuring the Lear Jet with the Cessna 310 C, in which I had just earned my multi-engine aircraft rating. As a good friend of mine would later say, "You missed a perfect opportunity to remain silent!"</div><div></div><div> 795a8134c1</div>
