Hello,

after being Android user for the last three years, I've decided to switch to iOS and test it.

At the moment I'm happy with the change, my only problem is I don't find any app able to replace AnMoney in terms of functionality:
  • Multiple currencies
  • Creation of categories and subcategories
  • Split transactions
  • Transfers between accounts
  • Budgeting
As the developer has no plan to create an iOS version, does anyone know of a valid app for iPhone that has all these features?

Much appreciated!!!

Hi Jorge,

I could recommend PocketMoney for iOS. I used it the last two years on my iPhone. It lacks some of the reporting functionalities of anMoney but does everything you need.

I agree with Gernot, I currently use Pocketmoney and it is the closest to anMoney I have found; having tried many others and I do agree the reporting features fall short of anMoney.
anMoney developers you really do need to design an IOS version, at the very least you are missing out on a great deal of potential sales revenue. Your package is vastly superior to most if not all apps I have seen on both IOS and Android.

Hi there,

thanks both for your feedback! I'll take a look to your suggestions.

And agreed, until know I haven't found any iOS finance app with all the features that AnMoney has. In fact, I'm missing Android because of anMoney (and other things as well, like tasker...) and developers should think about taking this great soft to another platform.

Thanks!

Almost 2 years gone, I'm about to switch platform to iPhone, and the only thing that I'll miss about Android is AnMoney.
Still no plans to deploy an iOS version? I would buy again, and even pay double price if this comes.

There is no financial app nowadays like AnMoney.. in ANY platform.
Best Regards

I a former AnMoney user, I had to change to iOS about two years ago and I asked both before and after I made the switch about an iOS version of AnMoney but the developers seem to not want to go in that direction. As I said, it's been two years now and I did not find any replacement for AnMoney, and being that the developers are not interested I would've invested in an iOS version myself just for the sake of having such an app but I just don't have the money for it. Seeing now that there is a list of other people dying to have an iOS version of AnMoney and the developers are not interested in this platform maybe we as a group can cut a deal with the developers of AnMoney get their API's and invest together in an iOS version of AnMoney.

I know this is a wild idea, but it is doable. Again, I don't want to knock off AnMoney, or hurt the developers profits in any way, I just want the productive useful AnMoney app on iOS.

I love hopping b/w OS, but I daily my nexus 5 due to anmoney.  there is NOTHING as great as it on IOS.  I do wish they had an IOS version though so I don't always have to carry two devices and I can move freely in b/w.  I would donate if we can get something happening, just throwing it out there.

What a pity you can't find a better app on Iphone. I've never wanted to go back to ios as android is much better for my needs. But I do agree with all you iosers, (teepee, good job I didn't put an L instead of an i 😃) anmoney is THE best money app out there right now. If there was an ios version it couldn't be known as anmoney anyway, iomoney would be more apt. (hmm, coincidentally I do owe money lol)
Keep up the good work Mr Developer Sir

I moved from iOS to Android and struggled to find a good finances app like I used to have with iOS. Finally found anMoney and I am very happy with it.
On iOS, I used a very good one called Account Tracker. You can find it here: http://grahamhaley.co.uk/accounts/

Hope you enjoy it, download the free version to try!
