I've been a user of anMoney for many many years. Given the problems with the newer Android versions I've tried to use an installation I had on a Tablet with Android 7.0. I can load the data but when I try to goto the transactions of any account I get a message that anMoney needs to connect to Internet to check the license. Even though it is connected to Internet it keeps cycling there. Looks like I've to say good bye to one of the best programas I've used in Android.

I'm using Android 9 on my Samsung and have no problems. Having said that, tomorrow is a different day.

Has anyone found a viable alternative to anMoney yet ? I hate to change but certainly the day will come when I have to.

I'm looking for one that can accept my anMoney data without hours (or days) of re-configuring the data file.... I don't want to lose my data when moving to a new program.

I would be willing to contribute to a program that will change the anMoney data to an acceptable format so that another program will accept it.

I too am using Android 9 on Samsung S10 with no issues. I don't use the few functionalities that don't work that others documented in a previous thread so thus far I think I am good for another few years (as long as my S10 lasts!).

Maybe by then there will be a viable option.

Hello Julie,

I have a good news for you: even after upgrade to Android 10, your application will still work. I use it on Pixel phone with Android 10 and there are only the documented issues.
I tried some alternatives for some time, but none were as good as anMoney, so I still use it, even with the small issues

Ignacio

I think you just have to do a newer installation, and the problem will be solved. Recently, I probably click in a different app and after that any time I tried to open AnMoney, it opens my RainBird app. I solve the problem, removing RainBird and install it in my tablet. AnMoney works well again ( with the known issues). I´m running Android 9 in a S9+, and everything is just fine as ever.
I tried all the apps that pretend to do the same, but AnMoney is unique. The best.
Let´s hope it continues working as told by our friend Petr.
Good luck

Thanks Octavio!! it worked.
Let me explain what the situation was: I've two copies of anMoney, one on my S8 (android 9) which I use on a daily basis, and another one on a Samsung tablet (Android 5.1.1)  which I haven't used for a couple of months; I imported my book from the S8 into the tablet and it crashed as posted previously. Doing a reinstall, as Octavio suggested, solved the problem.
Hope anMoney still lives for a long time. There is by now, no equivalent replacement.

Hi Everyone, I am on Android 9 on a Huawei Mate 20 Pro and using AnMoney good as new (except for the know issues). I dread the day when we need to give up on this app. There is no other app that comes near to this one...
