Network access messages for licencing

Hi, am I the only one getting now daily messages when I open AnM about the app needing network access to confirm licencing requirements? Never had this before. ...Don't always have a network connection when I use the app, but can't start now without doing this.

...Anmoney requires periodic network access for license verification purposes.  Pleas enable the network and once you have data connection try again.  You may disable the network afterwards.  Tapping ok will take you to the Wirelsess & network settings...

Any thoughts - is this a scam, how to make it disappear?

I have also received that message in the last days, for the first time, after 10 years of using anM daily.
Then it stopped.

Hi Thanks.
Rick replied too (but his comment's not here)..saying this is a Google Play thing. 

Glad to hear it will disappear again. I was starting to wonder, as after 3 days with on / off network access the message is still there for me. So the app has had a chance to do its licencing thing...Let's see how long it takes!

Hi @Rick, @Francesco
 So a couple of weeks after I started getting this message (?from Google play) it's still there.  I still have to have a network connection to be able to run the app.  How long until it disappears please; anything else I can do to make it go away?  As I want to use the app every day!  Will the people at GooglePlay be able to do anything - not sure of the official status of the app in that respect?  I think I have the official program file downloaded and installed from links in one of these groups to an APK file, but in my phone / Play account it's not listed as an installed app.  Thanks for any thoughts.  RB
