Dear friends:
 NRN Association is prepared for the upcoming NRN Convention in Kathmandu 12-14 Oct., 2011.There are several pre conference activities. Few of these activities includes Open University of Nepal, Literary Festival, NRN Tae Kwan Do Tournament, Women's Workshop etc. More information on the conference can be found at our website as it is being updated.

1. Increase our membership:  We need all of your help. If you are not a member of NRNNCC of USA, kindly complete attached form and mail it asap. 

 2. ICC Election: Every other years, NRN International Coordinating Council holds an election to elect a President, 2 Vice Presidents, 1 General Secretary, 1 Treasurer, and 1 Secretary and 1 Treasurer.  All candidates must be present in Kathmandu and attend the conference. Only delegates are allowed to vote and delegates must be registered and recommended by their National Coordination Council.

 3. NRN Delegation and Eligibility: All country delegates will be eligible to vote. As per by-laws, 10 country members are represented by 1 delegate. To be eligible to vote for any NRN motions and elections, one must be a member of NRN National Coordinating Council. NRN National Coordinating Council must certify and send a list of delegates to NRN Regional Coordinator of North America.  Attaching a membership form for your use.

4. AGM in New York: NRNNCC of USA will be holding an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 17^th, 2011 from 9 AM – 3 PM at Chian Federation at 44-01 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11103.

5. Registration: The participation in the conference and the GA will be strictly on the basis of registration. The registration fee for NRNs is US$ 100 per person. The registration fee covers the expenses the kitbag, the conference documentation. Other costs will have to be borne by the participants themselves. Conference registration checks must be received with payment to the National Coordination Council (NCC) of US by September 15, 2011.

Please pay registration by mail and send a check payable to NRNNCC of USA to our treasurer Dr. Binod Shah, 14 Deerhill Ln, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
