FreeVeeis a streaming service that offers thousands of movies and TV shows to watch completely for free. The platform offers ad-supported content to all viewers. You can use JustWatch to find every movie and TV show available right now on FreeVee. Filter your results by release year, genre, price, and rating to find the perfect movie or TV show for you. You can also see which titles on FreeVee are new to the platform.

Some Amazon Original Series are available on FreeVee such as Reacher, Wheel of Time and A League of Their Own. While not all Amazon Originals make it to FreeVee the two streaming services do share some titles with FreeVee offering a chance to watch Amazon Originals for free.

A movie I had on my watch list popped up on My Feed saying it's available from Freevee for free, and from AppleTV for a fee. I click on the Freevee link, and it takes me to the channel (I already had it on my channel list), but not to the movie. I'm shown the main entry page, with nothing related to the movie I wanted.

It happens that the title of this movie is "The House Across the Street". So I go into the "search" option within Freevee, and after typing in "The House Ac", it comes up with a list of movies, one of which is "The House Across the Street": but clicking on that does not take me to that movie, it takes me to a list of other movies.

Based on past experiences, I'm sure Roku will try to blame it on Freevee: if they respond to this at all. But I believe I can prove that the fault lies in Roku's search, and not in Freevee or with this movie in particular, because I can post literally dozens of other false search results.

I do still want to give Roku an opportunity to respond and explain what's wrong, even though I still have an open ticket on other "My Feed" problems that have gone unanswered after more than four MONTHS.

Summer fact: Amazon Prime Video doesn't have a lot of new original content in July. Though that's not likely to hurt the retail juggernaut's bottom line much with the annual Prime Day sales event that took place on July 17 and 18. You've likely had plenty of reasons to engage with Amazon this month, even though they don't have a ton of new stuff to watch. But "not a lot" isn't the same as "nothing." Prime Video's cupboard is hardly bare in July.

There are two new Prime Video original films that can help you pass the time: Space Cadet, starring Emma Roberts as a party girl who lies her way into NASA's astronaut program, and My Spy: The Eternal City, the sequel to the family-friendly action movie that was a hit during the pandemic. Also out this month is Sausage Party: Foodtopia, the TV series follow-up to the 2016 animated film Sausage Party, and Tyler Perry's Divorce in the Black.

Below, you'll find our picks for the best shows and movies to watch on Amazon Prime Video in July, as well as the full list of everything coming to Prime Video and Freevee, the free service that's accessible through Prime Video but doesn't require Prime membership.

Amazon has been more into the fluffy, watchable, and forgettable light movies in recent years, and you will probably watch this and then forget about it in the same day. Emma Roberts stars as a woman who had dreams of becoming an astronaut as a young girl but made some bad life choices and spent most of her developmental years partying. But because this is a movie, she eventually makes her way into the NASA program. It's part Legally Blonde and part Police Academy, and appears to be all DVD bargain bin movie. [Trailer]

You might think you need a subscription to one of the best streaming services to enjoy must-watch movies at home. But thanks to free alternatives like Amazon Freevee you can access a surprisingly robust library of movies without having to fork over a monthly fee.

This 2017 crime movie is set on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming, and the story begins with a wildlife services officer, Cory Lambert (Renner), discovering the body of an 18-year-old who has been brutally murdered on the reservation. Soon enough, FBI agent Jane Banner (Olson) arrives on the scene to investigate the crime and takes on Lambert as a guide. But as the duo attempts to solve the murder, their own lives are put at serious risk as they discover a web of deception.

It seems as though Prime Video and Freevee are heating up with an exciting lineup of new shows and movies set to premiere in August 2024. If you're struggling to find something to watch on this streaming service, the upcoming batch of new content should keep you entertained throughout the month.

"Batman: Caped Crusader" is a new animated series set in a dark and gritty Gotham City, where crime and corruption are rampant. Bruce Wayne, a wealthy socialite, adopts the mantle of Batman, a relentless and almost machine-like vigilante, dedicated to eradicating crime. His crusade attracts both allies and adversaries within the Gotham City Police Department and City Hall.

Key characters include a remorseless Batman, the facade of playboy Bruce Wayne, the complex and morally ambiguous Catwoman, the dual-natured Harley Quinn, the stalwart Commissioner Jim Gordon, and the tragic villain Clayface.

The story follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), a hobbit who lives a quiet life in the Shire, until the wizard Gandalf and a group of thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), enlist him for an adventure. The dwarves are on a quest to reclaim their homeland, Erebor, from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Gandalf (Ian McKellen) convinces Bilbo to join the expedition as their "burglar."

One of my favorite sci-fi horror movies is coming to Prime Video, and so I had to recommend it. "10 Cloverfield Lane" is set within the "Cloverfield" universe and follows Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), who wakes up in an underground bunker after a car accident. She finds herself in the company of two men: Howard (John Goodman), who claims to have saved her, and Emmett (John Gallagher Jr).

Howard informs Michelle that a catastrophic event has made the outside world uninhabitable due to chemical or nuclear fallout. Suspicious of Howard's intentions and the truth of his story, Michelle starts to question the reality of the situation. Soon, tension builds within the bunker, and Michelle discovers unsettling evidence about Howard's past.

Season 2 of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" continues the epic saga of Middle-earth, delving deeper into the rise of Sauron. Following the first season's revelations, Sauron (Charlie Vickers), who was disguised as Halbrand, now takes on the form of Annatar to deceive the inhabitants of Middle-earth. This season focuses on his cunning efforts to forge the Rings of Power and manipulate the various races, leading to a massive confrontation involving elves, dwarves and orcs.

The season will also explore new locations, including Rhn and Pelargir, and introduce new characters such as Tom Bombadil (Rory Kinnear) and the Barrow-wights. Additionally, significant plotlines include the internal conflicts within Nmenor and the alliances formed to counter Sauron's growing threat.

Freevee, formerly IMDb TV, is not a live TV service. It's an on demand service, and this past weekend I began using the Channels DVR PlayOn Cloud integration to download episodes of the new Bosch: Legacy series from Freevee.

Freevee includes advertising, but PlayOn indexes commercials. The commercials are then auto-skipped in the PlayOn Cloud player or in Channels DVR, although yesterday I found that in Channels DVR commercials shorter than 20 seconds required a manual button press to skip.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing in particular. There are some movies on that service that I can't find available on any of the other streaming service. IMDb is available through PlayOn, but then I'm paying for each download, so was just looking for a way to record directly through my DVR. I'm a little surprised that movies and programs can be recorded through PlayOn, but so far, no problems doing it.

As far as using Stirr, Plex and Pluto. I have those added to my Channels lineup, however, for some reason I don't get very good guide information. In fact, on a lot of channels, I just get the station logo, but no information on what is on. I can click the station and watch what is on at the time, but no idea what I'll be getting until I click on the channel.

Please see screen shot. I might get the program name of what is playing at that time or maybe an hour or two forward, but the guide after that just shows the channel name - like Pluto Drama or Stories by AMC - but no actually program information.

me too. We'll see if it helps. On some of the channels, I don't even get current information. Oh well,

I grew up in West Texas. We only got two channels - in black and white, no less. And we were happy

with that, so I'll learn to live without current guides on some channels!

Yes, I've tried that, but didn't fix the problem. Clueless why the guide doesn't work for me on all channels. Some of the channels on Pluto show the schedule - while others don't. Refresh didn't change anything.

The Librarian and its sequels are some of the best examples of one of my favorite genres: weird, cheesy made-for-TV sci-fi and fantasy. Think ensemble casts, wacky plotlines, and lots of questionable special effects.

For whatever reason, The Librarian movies show up on a lot of free, ad-supported streaming (FAST) services. But you might have missed The Librarians, the TNT spinoff that delivered weekly adventures hunting down magical artifacts. Luckily, Freevee is here to get you up to speed before the CW reboots it next year.
