ThePanzersoldat (German: Armoured Soldier), also known as Mech Z[1] is an enemy that appears on the maps Origins, Der Eisendrache and Revelations. It takes the appearance of a zombie in an armored suit, and will jump in from outside the map boundaries using a rocket pack to attack players.
First seen in the map Origins, it is armed with a Flamethrower and a giant claw to grapple players. It cannot be distracted with a Monkey Bomb or a G-Strike Beacon. The first Panzersoldat will always spawn in Round 8 unless the player hasn't open the door to No Man's Land yet. If the door was opened after round 8, it will spawn in the next round. The first Panzersoldat will also drop a piece for the Staff of Fire when killed, which is the only way to obtain the piece. Every third round (fourth-fifth in solo) after Round 8 also includes one or more Panzersoldats (only ever one in solo). However, they do not appear in the Crazy Place. The first Panzersoldat of each group in subsequent rounds will drop a random Power-Up.
In Der Eisendrache, instead of the gripping arm, the Panzer has a cannon that shoots electric projectiles. The first Panzersoldat will spawn in round 12. It will next spawn every five to six rounds. During the Easter Egg My brother's Keeper, a Panzer will immediately spawn after returning to present time, and also during the Corrupted Keeper boss fight. Furthermore, players can obtain a Panzersoldat Claw Helmet.
In Revelations, the Panzersoldat has the same model as in Der Eisendrache. It will spawn for the first time between Round 18 and Round 21. Just like the Margwa it can also spawn at the end of the round inside the giant Apothicon, if the player doesn't finish the round with a few zombies left.
The Panzersoldat takes the appearance of an orange/yellowish-eyed zombie in a large armoured suit. However, in Origins, the suit has a built-in flamethrower on the right, and a claw on the left, which can be shot to grab players from a distance. In Der Eisendrache and Revelations, the suit has the built-in flamethrower on the right, and an electric arm cannon that works similarly to Shock Charges on the left. Both versions of the Panzersoldat have a rocket pack on their back and smaller rocket thrusters on the back of their boots. The Panzersoldat has a highly visible bright light on its forehead. All these features make it similar to Brutus. There is also an unusually large amount of condensation on its visor, probably due to the foggy air inside the helmet. The suit's mask is similar to the Face Screen of the Zombie Shield. There is also a small smokestack behind its head. It makes a strange robotic noise before it lands.
In all maps, it has a flamethrower attack with low range, but deals moderate damage and impairs its target's vision with flames. It also has a powerful melee attack, which can down a player with Juggernog in two hits and a player without Juggernog in one hit.
In Origins, its other ranged attack is its claw, which is shot out of its left arm and can grab one player at a time. While a player is grabbed, he/she is vulnerable to zombie strikes and will be slowly pulled towards the Panzersoldat. Once the target is within range, the Panzersoldat will attack him/her with its flamethrower. It is possible to free yourself or another player caught in its claw by shooting the part of its arm the claw was fired from, marked by a small red light. It is possible to melee the light when close enough to it, also freeing the player. Finally, if sufficient damage is dealt to the Panzersoldat (by shooting it in the head) the player will be released. The Panzersoldat stands still while attacking with the claw and flamethrower.
In Der Eisendrache and Revelations, the Panzersoldat's rotating claw has been replaced by an arm cannon that shoots electric projectiles that briefly stun players if they are hit by one similar to Shock Charges in Multiplayer, and that give an electric aura to any zombies hit by them. The electric cannon is only shot when the Panzersoldat is standing still, however it is now capable of using its flamethrower while running.
When it is upgraded to a high level (6+) along with level 5+ frosty bowmen, this army will be very effective against strong zombies like bosses, because the frosty bowmen will slow the enemy while the panzers will break through.
These can be very helpful for keeping zombies at bay with their high health whilst the player takes cover to regain his/her own health. This is aparticularly helpful tactic when playing as Kunoichi in SVZ2.
You'll probably be surprised by how fast they move. Like most demonic/zombie forms of your allies, they are way tougher than their counterpart. They have a lot of health points, an inflict more damage than the regular panzer samurai. They are encountered for the first time at wave 51. As a matter of fact, they share the same skin as the zombie panzer samurais that are summoned by the Necromancer.
This giant version of the zombie/demonic panzer samurai is a boss encountered at wave 60 in SVZ1. He is tough and hits hard. His overall appearance is quite similar to the panzer samurai charm, as he emits a cloud of bright yellow mist.
Panzers wear heavy armor with black gloves. Their helmets have two bullet holes in it, and they were likely infected through their unprotected backs. Behind a panzer you can see their pants falling off and exposing his "plumber's crack".
The German word "Panzer" translates to "armor", or tank. In military context, "Panzer" is used as a shortened form of "Panzerkampfwagen" (armored fighting vehicle) and in general, can be used to describe World War II German armor. Panzers are heavily protected from the front, have the possibility of dishing out enormous amounts of damage, but are quite vulnerable from the rear.
Panzers move slowly, but can fit under gates, tunnels, cracks in the wall, and mantle over barricades. They have a very high resistance to damage in the front due to their thick armor; however, when hurt sufficiently, zombie panzers get stunned and will turn around, exposing their vulnerable backside.
A panzer's attack is a broad swipe with his arm. This will knock Kyle and other survivors backwards and make them fall to the ground. This attack is very unbalanced: since panzers can often hit them again as soon as they stand, survivors and Kyle will keep getting knocked down and be unable to do anything until death. As with the other specials, they should try to avoid getting cornered by a Panzer whenever possible.
When Kyle and his team are trying to find the Resistance Messenger in the UK, they find a panzer banging against a door. The panzer sees them and walks through the security checkpoint. He is eventually neutralized and they find Eddie, the Resistance Messenger.
A panzer is slow and stops moving when it is hit brutally. However, they have lots of health is very hard to kill. For extra damage, aim for the head. When Panzers punch Kyle and other survivors, they will be knocked down and lose lots of life. When a Panzer corners Kyle, hit it until the Panzer stops moving for a while. Then, run.
CoD isn't just known for it's war games. One of the most popular spin offs in the Call of Duty franchise is its zombie mode, and withing this zombie mode, there are some heavy hitters within the game that can strike fear into the hearts of even the most experienced zombie killers. Today, we're here to see who is the best!
Romero was doing research for a World War II movie when he came across Nazi documents pertaining to Element 115, and was inspired to make a movie about his finds. While directing the film starring Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Michael Rooker, Romero was carried off by a real zombie and infected with Element 115, turning him into a superpowered undead.
Later the actors would eventually encounter the zombified Romero, who seemed to be still somewhat in control of himself, though was prone to berserker-like fits of rage. Although Romero proved more than a challenge for the group, they managed to fight him off for long enough to escape.
Considering a zombie can't just pick up a gun, as that would violate all the laws of zombie media (unless you're, like, Dead Rising or something), Romero has to improvise to use any weapon, but oh boy if the one he didn't pick was strange and mildly iconic. For his main weapon of choice, Romero picks up a stage light and starts whacking with it!
On the battlefields of World War 1, during the Battle of Paris in 1918, the German research group, Group 935, was working on an excavation project. A project that one of their founders, Dr. Maxis, thought would open up a portal into something called the Aether. While excavating ancient ruins found in Paris, they needed something to easily move around the materials they were excavating. So, they created excavator suits, made to lighten the load a little and make excavation far easier.
I'll be honest I don't know how a flamethrower is useful when it comes to extracting stone from the ground. You could say something like it melts it away but I'm going to say that's dumb. Anyways, the flamethrower is a close ranged weapon, used mainly to attack those who are only a few feet in front of the Soldat, or those who were unable to escape from it's clawed arm. Otherwise, the Panzer will just wave its arm around. The flamethrower is good at dealing lasting damage to humans, but to zombies it only seems to annoy them. Being dead has its perks.
The Soldat jumps into the map by using hovering devices on its feet, which it also uses to clear quick jumps, and just...Superman fly away whenever the players are nowhere to be seen. That being said, the Soldat never uses it to actually fight, and only uses it to get from point A to point B. It would much rather fight on the ground, and only use it's pseudo flight for quick mobility.
The Warden, commonly referred to as Brutus by the community, was the former warden of the Alcatraz prison system. In Mod of the Dead and Blood of the Dead, he serves as the main antagonist, opposing both the mobsters and the Primis groups when they had journeyed to Alcatraz to complete their individual quest. He is also the reason why the mobsters are trapped in an unending loop within the island of Alcatraz itself. ...yeah it's wild.
