We just got Overdrive and it works on our tablets, but not my 2nd Gen Moto X running 5.1.

@Curt - The Overdrive app is larger and more complex technologically and thus has higher demands on the supported devices. So, some devices that were "on the cusp" and could get away with running Drive may not be able to run Overdrive. Sounds like the Moto X 2nd Gen falls into this category, I'm so sorry. 

Are you able to still use it if one of your tablets hosts* the game? (This should work.)

Also (for others who might be reading this): Overdrive supports cross-platform play, so your options for a compatible host device just expanded, yay. With Drive, all devices in the game have to be Android only (or iOS only). With Overdrive, you can have a mix. 

For example, if you have an iPad 3 and an Moto X 2nd Gen, you should be able to play an Overdrive game with both, as long as both devices are on the same wifi network. In this case, the iPad would host* the game. 

*By host, I mean: During game setup, one person taps the "I will host" button and all the other players tap the "join" button. (It's really that simple.)

I just got the starter set and tried with my Moto X 2nd gen, Android 5.1

Anki App V. 1.0.1

At first it would not find my cars. I got them working the following way :

1. Closed the App (Sqare Icon and swipe away)

2. Disalbe Bluetooth

3. Enable Bluetooth

4. Start App again

The I could do the tutarial and the single player mode. After some time I had to repeat the procedure, as cars were not found anymore.

I tried to host a multiplayer game, but other players were not able to join.

I hostet a multiplayer game on an Ipad Mini first gen and were able to join the game with the Moto X 2nd.
