[Anki Overdrive] Kindle Fire (2015) Tablet - App Crash

Device: Amazon Kindle Fire (5th Generation) 7"
FireOS: Version 5.0.1
Anki Overdrive App: Version 1.1.0
Location: Germany
I've downloaded and installed the latest Anki Overdrive App from anki website. After start, the App crashes to Fire Launcher.
Is it possible to get the latest beta to support your Devs to get it working on the Fire devices?
As like David I misread the "Anki Drive" on Kindle Fire page and bought an Overdrive Starter Kit.

I'm so sorry about that. Here are your options:
- If you're quite technical and already have your Kindle configured to sideload apps from Google Play, then I can send you instructions offline.
- If you're not setup for Play AND you're not worried about losing game progression, then I can send you different instructions offline. Caveat: In this case only, you will need to delete this beta app before installing any future public version. (This caveat doesn't apply to the first option above.)
- OR, if all of this sounds too complicated, then you're welcome to join our mailing list (or check back here) to be notified if/when our app becomes available via Amazon.
FWIW, we're anxious to support Kindle--it's just going to take some time. Meanwhile, I hope one of these options is "good enough" as a temporary solution. For the first two options, select "Reply Privately" to this post, and I'd be happy to help you out.

Exactly the same happened to me: misread "Anki Drive" --> now I have Kindles and cool Overdrive @ home but the only thing I can do is enjoying the flashing cars on their charging station :-/
Thus it would be rally great if you could share the information with me, too!

Hi!
Mir ging es genauso...
Aber evtl. wird es noch, Overdrive Version 1.2. gibt es neu im Playstore. (Ich konnte noch nix testen)
