Awesome, @Dale!
> Should I indicate iphone in by Beta profile
Yes - any device that you have regular access to should be included in your beta profile. That's very helpful for us and also ups your chances of getting selected.
> The iPhone app has a cooler interface than the Android (whats up with that!?!)
Well, it has been out for a year longer... ;)
> We were able to host a game using iPhone, but I could not host a game on my Nexus 5 with my Nexus 7. Is this just a Nexus 7 issue? I had no problem hosting the Nexus 7 away from the office.
The easy thing to check: make sure both devices are on the exact same wifi network. I assume you've already done this though.
I 99.99% guarantee you this is an issue with an office network setting. You'll need to get your IT person to enable both multicasting and wireless client isolation. Also, sometimes the IT person will set up different frequency support (2.4GHz & 5GHz) for a single access point (in order to support a broad range of wifi devices). If this is true in your case, you'll need to make sure both devices are using the same frequency--again, check with your IT person for this.
> Why is the MotoX not supported? is there a trail app similar to the one for the nexus 7?
We're having to work around hardware limitations, and yes, there's a special beta download for all Moto devices that fixes a crash issue. However, the Turbo is the only Moto model that currently works reasonably well with the beta app. We're working to see if we can get the others working, but this will take some time.
@All - If you have a Motorola device and want to try the beta, see the usual instructions
here.
