Since the recent update, the widget background uses a blue-toned color (likely from the dynamic system theme). Unfortunately, this causes two major readability problems:

Red text appears blurry or doubled, especially on the blue background. This is likely due to chromostereopsis (color fringing).

Blue text fades into the background, making it nearly invisible in some themes.

This makes the widget hard to use, especially for color-coded cards or progress indicators. I'd really appreciate an option to:

Manually choose the widget background or text/icon colors, or

Switch to a more neutral, high-contrast default design.
