Timer alarm

Would it possible to add an alarm to the timer? It would greatly improve the focus. There is an add-on for anki desktop that does that, it's called "Speed Focus Mode". https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1046608507

Hi there!

I looked at that add-on, and while AnkiDroid has trouble supporting
add-ons because of the strongly-typed language Android handsets use vs
the dynamically-typed Python system for Anki Desktop, we do already
support the auto-show-answer and auto-fail mode, all that's missing for
you is the timer.

I understand you can't have sounds play in android without user
interaction but I believe you can alter the card template to add some
javascript that will pop up a message - give that a try:
