Connecting AnkiDroid to 8BitDo Zero 2

Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to use a game controller when using AnkiDroid. I would love it if this were possible but I can't find how to do this anywhere. I have 8BitDo Zero 2 connected to my Galaxy S22 as well as my Galaxy Tab S7 but can't get it to work on AnkiDroid. Thank you so much and I really appreciate the work you all put in!!
