Anki Image Occlusion Problem

Hi sir,

I am using anki from past couple of months and I found it very much efficient for my studies and academic stuffs! I use anki flashcards for revision purpose mostly.

Sir, whenever I use the anki image occlusion app suggested by one of your member, the app works well but the Image quality gets so much reduced infact it seems a total waste! Even if my image is in high resolution, but still it makes it so blurred and poor in terms of image quality; 

Sir, I request you to please look into this issue, I'm sending some of the screen shots....  Below screenshot images are after image occlusion..... Please help me..

Hi there!

I think I responded to you on the Play Store, but there you did not mention that it was an image occlusion interaction, I thought it was just a standard image - for example of a cat or something - where detail was not vital.

In combination with image occlusion I can see what you mean though.

We do have an automatic rotate and compress stage and I wonder if we can modify that - this is a case I had not considered but if I were studying anatomy (again) I would certainly need to be able to read the text!

May I ask you to open an issue on our github about this so we don't lose track of it? https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/issues/new - I would really like to fix this one, it is clearly important for the learning process so would have a big impact vs time investment for fix
