Hello Greg,

I do not think this is currently available in the Android app.
Can you look at whether there is already a feature request on:
and file one if not?

Probably it will not make it into 2.0 (it is already feature frozen),
but it might be something that can be done for 2.1 maybe.

Thanks
-Flavio

Hello! Sometimes there is a term I want to look up or a card I want to show someone but when I search for that card in the card browser it seems that the only way to view the card is through the editing window.
Is there a way to open up/preview a card in the card browser as if you were reviewing it again? (like for showing someone how anki works with audio and stuff)
On the desktop version you can get this by clicking the [card layout] button.

Thanks,
Greg

Every time I pressed the cards button AnkiDroid hangs and generates an error report, to which it says Known Issue, pending investigation or something of the sort.

Hello,

Pressing the cards button works fine for me.
Could this be related to your collection?
If you could provide:
- the exact error message (or a photo of your device showing the message)
- collect the logs with ADB or an application like SendLog
or
- your collection.db, assuming that's the actual issue
then I can investigate the issue.

Thanks,
-Flavio

Hi Flavio, do I send you my db to your personal email? What files do
you need exactly?
Thanks.

I think this would be a useful feature

This is an old thread, the feature has been available for more than a year; just long-click on an item in the browser.
