Hello,
I attempted to download the AnkiDroid app but it says that it isn't available or compatible with my device and that it is made for an older version, mine is Android 12
It will be very appreciated if you can solve this problem

Hi,
Currently, some issue related to Google's new policy is blocking downloading AnkiDroid on Play Store via devices with newer Android version. To solve this issue, the development team is now working to update AnkiDroid to the new version.
If the following "Join the beta" section is still shown on the page of Play Store app on your device, you can download the latest pre-release version of AnkiDroid from Play Store by joining the beta test and the alpha test from here: https://docs.ankidroid.org/#alphaTesting
Alternatively, you can download the latest pre-release version from the following development page: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.16.0beta1

I just stumbled upon this, looks like the beta isnt available on Android either. Any timeline for droid or way the public can assist you guys?

What he means is that like me he accidentally discovered this page while trying to install on Android 12. And would like to know when it would be available. So when may we expect to see it for android 12+?

Hi,
Thank you. It has not yet been determined when the official update will take place. That being said, the existing officially-released AnkiDroid itself is available on Android 12+. Many users are using it on Android 12 & 13 even now with no problem. You can download it here: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.15.6
